It’s not wise to exaggerate your own reactions. In my long career, I have noticed that across the professions, successful people have been sober, and have adhered to the golden principle – No response, diluted response, delayed response. It’s good to quietly hold on to the fundamentals with a firm grip, and not dance around the inconsequential peripherals. Move on.

It’s not wise to exaggerate your own reactions.
